Merry Christmas!!!!

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The girls are growing up so fast. They are 11 months old today. Walking is no longer a challenge, so now they are starting to climb. They both like to step up the steps. Crawling up them just isn't enough. It is so much fun watching them grow and explore. They love books! They carry them everywhere. Mackenzie is really starting to get some hair. Kate is still waiting for hers to grow. They are eating all solid foods. They love it!!! They love the Christmas Tree, Pretend Santa(not real), and Frosty decorations. They both pull out all the tupperware and walk around the house with it. The girls say, "Ma, Ma all day! I love it. I was unable to download the videos. I will try again after the first of the year.

We love our lunch!

Trick or Treat and Florida!

Kate and Mackenzie looked adorable in their daisy costumes! We went to the pumpkin patch and let the girls pick out their own pumpkin. They were very tiny. They wanted to eat them immediately. We all just got back from Florida. It was beautiful there. The girls loved the swimming pool, exploring every inch of Grammy's house, and eating table food. They are done with the jar foods. They want the real stuff. They did not like the plane ride. They wanted down the entire time. Mackenzie developed a lovely scream and decided to practice it on the plane for an hour and a half. It is hard to believe they are going on 10 months. They both walk everywhere. Kate just learned to run! They discovered that cabinets open and close. They enjoy pulling out Mommy's dishtowels and tupperware. Stay tuned for some video clips.

Ray Bucknell!!!!!

Kate, Mackenzie, Jim, and I had a great weekend in D.C. Bucknell was playing Georgetown. We had the opportunity to take the girls. They had so much fun. We stayed with our friends, Jaime, Colby, and Baby Kyle. Bucknell won the game. The girls had so much fun. They had on their Bucknell sweatshirts and cheered the team on. There were 3 little boys that came too(Nolan, Jack, and Kyle). The girls had a ball at the tailgate and in the game. They played in their wagon, the grass, and on the ground in the game. "Da Da" got to see some guys he graduated with. After the game, our friends, Josh and Megan had us over for a crab bake. It was so nice to visit with everyone. Uncle Ross(a friend of Jim's) got the girls Future Coleman Camp t-shirts. Uncle Ross owns a day camp on Long Island. It is awesome!! Baby Kyle and the girls played very nicely at Jaime and Colby's. In the basement they had a great play center. Kate and Mackenzie couldn't get enough of Kyle's toys.

Kate and Mackenzie are changing so much. They say, "Da Da" all day long. They both continue to eat their jar foods, but are trying fresh cut up fruit too. They love cheerios and puffs! They are both walking. Kate can walk about 5-10 steps on her own. Mackenzie can do 2-4 steps. It is so exciting to watch. They are so busy all day.

Grammy Craft taught them to climb steps. So before bedtime, they climb and climb. They jibber jabber all day long. They are happy little girls. Kate gives everybody the "eyebrows" and Mackenzie smiles.

The Allen Craft Memorial Golf Outing

On Friday, September 19th, we had the third annual Golf Outing in memory of my Dad. Jimmy started this three years ago. He does most of the work for it too. In three years, we have raised nearly $45,000.00. We will be giving our first scholarship this year. I am so proud of Jimmy for his hard work and dedication. The girls had so much fun. They were there to greet all the golfers in their red wagon. The dinner was great. So many people showed up for this. It really meant a lot to my family and me. It is something we are looking forward to having each year. This was Kate and Mackenzie's first golf outing. I included some golf outing pictures and a few others.

The Red Wagon!!!

Kate and Mackenzie love their red wagon!!! We go for walks every day. They love looking at the trees, flowers, and even the birds. They are changing every day. They are both pulling up on everything. They giggle and babble with each other all the time. Kate loves touching Mackenzie. Mackenzie does not like when Kate touches her. They are both fast crawlers. Jim and I are safety proofing the house. They are everywhere. They are both trying to repeat words that are said to them. It sounds like Mackenzie can say, "Hi." Kate sounds like she can say, "Pat-a-cake," and "Duck." And of course they are both saying, "Da, Da."

WE HAVE TEETH!!!!

Mackenzie and Kate have two teeth. Kate's second one is just starting to break through. We have had a few restless nights. Their gums are a bit red and puffy. The girls are changing each and every day. I wish I could freeze time. When Kate gets upset she says, "Da, Da, Da, Da." Mackenzie says, "Baaaaaaa." Here are some pictures of the girls in their red wagon. I also included a picture of our friend Kaelyn feeding the girls lunch. Enjoy!

Kate and Mackenzie are 7 Months this week!!!

Here is an update on the girls:

Kate and Mackenzie are eating squash, apples, peas, rice cereal, and sweet potatoes. Kate doesn't care for any of them. Mackenzie loves them all. They are still being nursed. Neither one will take a bottle. They have been trying a sippy cup. Pray it works. Mommy has to go back to work in January. She can't leave the Na Na's at home. :)))))) Mommy and Daddy found a babysitter for the girls. Her name is Debbie. She has worked with twin girls for 12 years! She is wonderful!!! Kate is standing up in her crib, crawling, sitting up on her own, clapping her hands, and investigating everything! Mackenzie is sitting up, crawling, talking up a storm, laughing, and cuddling Mommy and Daddy. She loves to cuddle. Both girls get up every morning and babble to each other, hold hands, and entertain each other. They are already BFF. It is so cute to watch. They are officially sleeping through the night!!! Hooray for Mommy and Daddy. Mommy slept six hours straight for the first time in over 7 months. There was a lot of crying and sad faces. It was very, very hard. Kate and Mackenzie were taught their first "NO." That was tough!!! They have changed so much. They love books! They chew, listen, and hold them. They love "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" and "No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed." Having twins is a new adventure every day!!! Mommy and Daddy are loving every minute of it! Check out the videos down below. Just hit the play button.

Kate and Mackenzie Are Over 5 Months Old!

Kate and Mackenzie are getting so big! It is hard to believe they are almost 6 months. They are almost sitting up on their own, babbling, and starting to scoot across the floor. They are still having a difficult time sleeping through the night. Mommy and Daddy are still working on that one. :))) Here are some pictures of the Pirate Game, 4th of July, and various other ones.
