Happy Easter!

The girls had their first Easter. They got all kinds of baskets and bunnies! They are all so cute. We were all sick for Easter. Jimmy had a terrible cough, I had the sore throat and cold, Kate and Mackenzie had a flu virus. But, we all managed to make it to church and brunch. The girls looked adorable in their pink and chocolate dresses with furry socks. They were little angels in church and at brunch. We are slowly getting better. Fortunately the girls did not get fevers. They just have terrible coughs and stuffy noses. I officially know what people say, "When your children hurt, you hurt." Enjoy the photos.

Kate and Mackenzie's room is finally done!

Kate and Mackenzie's room is finally finished. Now we have to get them to sleep in there! They are currently sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's room. That could become a disaster. They continue to change. Kate loves eating and Mackenzie loves crying. Mackenzie went to the doctor today. She has mild acid reflux. The doctor put her on some medication. :( Hopefully this helps. They are learning to play with one another. They hold each other's hands at feeding time. It is the cutest thing in the world. Sometimes Kate's arms get out of control and she ends up socking Mackenzie in the face. But, not to worry, Mackenzie lets out a horrific scream and Kate quickly moves her arm. They are starting to sleep longer at night. That is a good thing. Grammy Tess, Mommy, and Daddy are exhausted. For a while they had their days and nights mixed up. Here are some pictures of their room, the girls playing, them wearing their cherry sweatsuits, and Big and Little Matt.

The Baptism

The girls were baptised on Sunday, March 2. They looked so pretty in their outfits. The godparents of Kate were Wendy Craft and Matt John. The godparents of Mackenzie were Jamie Craft and Ryan Kennedy. The baptism took place at St. Therese church. Father Ken walked the girls down the aisle and welcomed them into the Catholic church. The girls enjoyed the water that was sprinkled on their heads. But Kate was ready to get it all finished. She was starving and did not want to wait any longer. :)

We had our first wellness check-up

The girls had their first wellness check-up. Kate is 9lbs11oz and Mackenzie is 7lbs! They are getting so big. They both are smiling a lot and making cooing sounds. It is so much fun watching them grow and change. They love their swings and bouncers. Sleeping arrangements are all over the place. We are going to really try getting them in their cribs. They like Mommy and Daddy's room too much. :) The girls are having their baptism tomorrow, Sunday, March 2nd. Stay tuned for more pictures.
