Happy 1st Birthday Kate and Mackenzie!!!!

It is hard to believe one year has gone by. The girls are still changing each and every day. They definitely are showing different personalities. Kate goes with the flow. Mackenzie likes it her way and noone elses. They love BOOKS, playing, and bath time!!!! They can say, "Hi, Bye, Cracker, Ma Ma, Da Da, Ga Ga, and Ball." Kate and Mackenzie both try to repeat everything someone is saying. They get excited about seeing the Turkeys and Deer in our backyard. They go running when we tell them the animals are outside. When they are hungry, they walk over to their highchairs and say, "Uhhh, Uhhh!!!!." When they are ready to go to bed, they walk over to the stairs or lay their head down on a blanket. It is so much fun watching them grow!!! They are starting to climb. Ugh...

Kate and Mackenzie turned one on Jan. 22nd. The girls wore adorable Birthday Cake dresses at their party. They ate pizza and chicken fingers. They were a little overwhelmed with singing, "Happy Birthday." Mackenzie teared up. They both played with their cake, but didn't try any. They loved opening their gifts!!!!! It was so exciting to watch them.

I started back to school. I had a great first week. I think the girls are adjusting well. Everyone at school has welcomed me back. I have a great bunch of students. It made going back an easy transition.

Happy New Year!!!!

It is hard to believe the girls will be one!!!!! This year has gone really fast. Kate and Mackenzie are eating solid foods and have been for a couple of months. They love fruit, veggies, bread, puffs, and yogurt bites. They both are good eaters.

We were at Grammy Tess's house in Florida for ten days. The girls had a ball. They played in the pool, visited with all their aunts and uncles, went for wagon rides, and ate at some cool restaurants.
Kate and Mackenzie continue to babble. Their new word is, "Ball." They love kicking and throwing balls. They are starting to fight over toys. "Share" is not in their vocabulary yet.

I have attached some pictures and videos. Enjoy!!!
